This summer the school is hosting a Garden party, with a highly anticipated talk from Editor of the NZ Gardener magazine Jo McCarroll, followed by a tour of our blooming kitchen gardens with Adrianne all finished off with a glass of bubbles and a high tea down at the school... it is sure to be a great morning.

A bit about Jo...

Jo McCarroll has edited NZ Gardener since 2010. She lives in a central Auckland suburb on a section crammed with vege beds, fruit trees and flowers. She appears frequently on radio and television talking about gardening and is a popular speaker at garden clubs and garden festivals. She is the 2023 winner of the RNZIH Horticultural Communicator Medal and her first book, Vege Patch from Scratch, is now out. 

Her talk here at the school will be focussed on looking back at the history of gardening in New Zealand as told through the NZ Gardener archive.

Do you cater to special diets for the Spring Garden Party?

PLEASE NOTE for this event we unfortunately can't cater for Guests with Dietary needs, the high tea menu is set. No refunds can be given on booked dinners or events.
